Tell us about yourself:

I was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and grew up a military brat. My dad was in the U.S. Air Force and we lived in several places during his military career, such as; Maryland, Colorado, California, Pennsylvania, and West Germany. Upon my dad's retirement in 1972, we moved back to his hometown of Altoona, Pennsylvania. I subsequently attended Altoona Area High School (class of 1976) and then went on to attend Penn State University from 1976-1980, where I majored in Law Enforcement/Corrections & Elementary Education.

I moved to Texas in 1980 and began my law enforcement career by joining the Texas State Police (Texas Department of Public Safety/DPS) in 1981. I worked the road as a Highway Patrol Trooper for approximately 15 years before promoting to Sergeant in the Narcotics Service. After almost 28 continuous years of service to the state of Texas, I retired from the State Police (Texas DPS) in April of 2008 and immediately joined the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office in Richmond, Texas (near Houston). I am currently employed by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office as a Detective/Investigator.

I have resided in Katy, Texas since 1982. Katy is approximately thirty (30) miles west of downtown Houston and is actually located in three (3) counties; Fort Bend, Waller, and Harris. To learn more about the Katy area, please visit my web-site at http://www.w5www.com/katy.html .

My number one hobby throughout the years has been Ham/Amateur Radio. I have been a Ham/Amateur Radio operator since age 16. My favorite mode of operation is Morse Code, although I do occasionally work Single Side Band (SSB). I hold an Extra Class Ham/Amateur Radio license as issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and my call sign is W5WWW.

My interest in "UFOs" and "The Supernatural" rose to an even higher level several years ago as I was stargazing late one night in the Pocono mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. I observed what appeared to be several star-like objects zig-zagging back and forth around each other, constantly changing directions at an extremely high rate of speed. It appeared as though these star-like objects were playing some sort of game amongst themselves. I have no idea what it was I was witnessing that night but I truly believe their origins are not of this earth. Several of the photos that I've posted here on my profile were taken in Malaysia, where my wife is originally from. These photos were taken primarily in Kuala Lumpur, the Gentling Highlands, and on a small island off the Malaysian coast in the South China Sea. Some of the more recent photos are of my son, who was born in March, 2009.
