Carson, excuse me if you may, but I feel the need to make one final comment regarding the Michael Jackson empire. No offense to anyone and may He rest in peace with our Lord. It is not like me to comment on the dearly departed, but as I am driving down Grand Pkwy this a.m. I thought my ears were deceiving me. Los Angeles is asking for helping hands to pay back the financially troubled city in lieu of the $1.4 million spent to accomodate dear Michael's memorial. What kind of hogwash is this...My seventeen year old daughter could hardly believe it. I thought my car was going to spin off into the median. If they could not afford the memorial why the heck did they even have one? Where's the money generated over the last two weeks from the 800,000 album sales??? Better yet, they claim to have 17K from the ticket sales to get in the SC....what about the ebay sales for the tickets bidding out at 1K a shot? Those figures are not accurate. Maybe someone should draw the interest off the hidden money from "We Are The World" donations and pay back LA. Whoever made money that day should give it back to the troubled city. And another thing, all those out selling water, t-shirts, etc at the SC memorial should be ashamed of themselves. The old saying "rats come out of the closet" or even better off the wall could never be so true with this senario. I don't think this is what MJ would have wanted. But, who am I to say. MJ is not in his resting place yet, but if he was I am sure he'd be moonwalking sideways. Where is The Jackson Family??? The whole concept of people still trying to make money off this pop icon is sickening and personally I have heard enough. I don't remember Priscilla asking for handouts.

Mayor states LA is footing the bill. Guess they're not that broke after all.
